Last Saturday, 24 students were on their way to their senior prom in Davies, Florida, that final rite of passage before graduation. An ordinary ride in a limousine turned into something much scarier as they watched a van slam into a wall on the highway just ahead of them, reported a Florida’s WPBF.
Limo driver Danny Izzi did his best to stop the car with all his passengers as quickly as possible. A young child was able to remove himself from the overturned van and ran toward the students who were then standing on the highway. The child told the students and driver his family, including other siblings, were stuck in the van. Some students called 911 while others were able to administer first aid. They told reporters it was only after the excitement calmed down and the ambulances left they realized they were still in their expensive outfits, outfits covered in blood.
They did their best to clean themselves up and Drive Izzi said the students still arrived at prom. Today, the students returned to school in their outfits to take a photo without blood.
